A Flavour of What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead Local HR Operations: Own day-to-day HR management for Málaga – from onboarding and contracts to engagement initiatives and office culture.
- Be the Cultural Anchor: Help create an environment where people feel welcome, inspired, and proud to work.
- Compliance & Coordination: Partner internally with teams such as Legal and HR Operations to keep our processes watertight under Spanish labour law, taking ownership of local processes such as Visa applications and maintenance.
- Talent & Onboarding: Collaborate with our global TA team to ensure a seamless recruitment experience, representing Betsson as an employer of choice in the local market.
- Employee Experience: Be the first point of contact for employees – approachable, professional, and proactive in resolving queries.
- Engagement & Events: Drive local wellbeing and social activities that reflect Betsson’s culture and values.
- Data & Reporting: Keep records accurate and processes efficient, ensuring information flows smoothly between Málaga and other locations.
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in HR, ideally in a fast-paced or international environment.
- Excellent understanding of Spanish labour law and HR operations.
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Organised, approachable, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Confident hosting visitors, leading local initiatives, and being the visible HR face of the office.
