Betsson Group shortlisted in 8 categories at the SBC Awards in Lisbon

Over the years, Betsson Group has distinguished itself as a leader in the gaming industry and as a result has receiving numerous nominations and won several of them. To add to the list of accolades, Betsson has recently been nominated for eight categories at the SBC Awards in Lisbon, Portugal.
The eleventh edition of the SBC Awards, scheduled for September 26 in Lisbon, will honour the very best in the betting and gaming industry. The awards recognise the achievements of operators, affiliates, and suppliers from across all the major disciplines including payments, marketing, platform providers and data.
Betsson Group is shortlisted for the following categories:
– Best Affiliate Program – Betsson Group Affiliates
– Casino Operator of the Year – Betsson Group
– Employer of the Year – Betsson Group
– Innovation in Casino & Gaming Entertainment – Betsson Group
– Leader of the Year – Corinne Valletta
– Marketing Campaign of the Year – Betsson Group
– Operator of the Year – Betsson Group
– Sportsbook Operator of the Year – Betsson Group
Besides Betsson Group getting nominated for several categories, its affiliate programme, successfully managed by Betsson Group Affiliates (BGA), has also been nominated for Best Affiliate Programme, and Corinne Valletta, Betsson Group General Counsel, got nominated for one of the most important awards of the ceremony, the Leader of the Year. Corinne’s initiatives, including the implementation of automation in legal and compliance processes, have significantly enhanced efficiency for the Regulatory Affairs team at Betsson.
Besides our presence at the awards ceremony, during that week, several of our employees will participate in diverse panels of SBC Summit and SBC Leaders Summit, both events also taking place in Lisbon.
Betssonites will be participating in the following speaking engagements:
Andre Gelfi, Betsson Brazil Managing Partner, will participate in the “Navigating Business Management in Brazil: Pre and Post-Regulation Realities” panel. This panel aims to chart a roadmap for the future of the Brazilian market, including the potential regulation of land-based casinos and the benefits to the industry and country.
Caroline Broman, Head of SEO at Betsson Group, will be moderating the session “SEO for Affiliates – The New Bag of Tricks.” This masterclass will explore new strategies for visibility, including unique content types, traffic generation methods, videos, and streaming.
Corinne Valletta, General Counsel at Betsson Group, will actively participate in the roundtable discussions at the SBC Leaders Summit, focusing on diverse topics such as Payments & Fintech, Key Affiliations & Partnership Models versus Growing Advertising Restrictions, Multi-Jurisdictional Compliance, Omnichannel Strategies, Gambling 2.0 – AI & Emerging Technologies, and Organic Growth versus M&A.
Eduards Jakubovs, Head of Responsible Gaming at Betsson Group, will participate in the panel discussion “Translating data points into meaningful interactions: RG after identification.” Among other matters, he will give insights on how operators can use existing data to make a difference for at-risk players.
Milica Kuzmanović, Global Offsite SEO Lead at Betsson Group, will be moderating the masterclass “SEO for Affiliates: The New Bag of Tricks.” The panel will provide valuable insights on how to stay ahead in the competitive landscape of search engine results pages (SERPs).”
Silvia Tavella, Global SEO Lead at Betsson Group, will be sharing her experiences at the session “Casino Reviews: Navigating SEO and Authentic Content.” The session will delve into strategies focused on rapidly producing casino reviews with AI while maintaining SEO, article authenticity, and reader interest.
Stefano Tino, Managing Director for Italy at Betsson Group, will speak at the panel “A new era for the Italian gaming market.” Stefano will discuss the upcoming changes to gaming regulations in Italy and their potential impact on the market.
