6 Nominations at the SBC Awards Latinoamérica

These nominations reflect Betsson Group's dedicated efforts in the Latin American market.
SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2024

Betsson Group has been shortlisted for six accolades at the highly anticipated SBC Awards Latinoamerica 2024. The 4th SBC Awards Latinoamérica, set to take place on 31st October in Miami, honours the leading companies and individuals representing the gaming and betting industry in Latin America. These awards recognise the achievements of operators, affiliates, and suppliers from major disciplines, including payments, marketing, platform providers, and data.

SBC Summit Latinoamérica 2024

Besides Betsson Group’s participation at the SBC LatAm Awards, the group is a Gold Headline Sponsor of SBC Summit Latinoamérica 2024. Set to take place in Miami from the 30th to the 31st of October, the SBC Summit Latinoamérica is one of the major events for professionals and businesses seeking to expand their presence in the region. The summit emphasises knowledge sharing, product showcases, and networking opportunities, covering key topics like sports betting, online casinos, marketing, payments, compliance, and more across a variety of Latin American countries.

Betsson Group will actively participate in the following tracks:

On 30th October, Andrea Rossi, Betsson Group Commercial Director for Latin America, and René Higuita, Colombian goalkeeper and Betsson global brand ambassador, will be the speakers of the track “Fearless Football: René Higuita’s Game-Changing Impact.” Besides this track, on 31st October, Andrea will participate in the track “Peru: A Year Later.”

Lorena Castro, Betsson Group Head of Compliance for LatAm, will be giving her insights among other experts on the track, “Protecting the Future: Combating influences of underage gambling” on 30th October. On that same day, Betsson’s Managing Partner for Brazil, Andrea Gelfi, will share his thoughts on one of the hottest topics in the industry right now – the Brazilian market regulation – at the track “Brazil’s betting boom – what’s next for the market?”.

Betsson Group looks forward to attending both events and eagerly anticipates the grand reveal for the SBC LatAm Awards.

The company is also shortlisted for 10 awards at the EGR Italy Awards 2024, 14 at the EGR Operator Awards 2024, and 4 at the Global Regulatory Awards 2024.
