Following the launch of our new Technology Hub in Málaga, we are expanding our team to support the attraction and engagement of top tech talent. As we build a new presence in southern Spain, we want our employer brand to reflect our culture of innovation, inclusivity, and impact.

We are looking for an Employer Brand Specialist who is passionate about storytelling, talent engagement, and strengthening our reputation in the tech community.

This role will also support on recruitment needs as we look to grow and build the Málaga hub.

Recruitment will be an integral part of this role in order to not only attract but also source top talent for Málaga

As an Employer Brand Specialist, you will help shape and amplify the company’s employer brand across the Málaga region and beyond. You’ll support content creation, events, campaigns, and outreach initiatives targeted at software engineers, product experts, data specialists, and other high-demand tech profiles.

You’ll work closely with Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Communications, and the local Hub leadership to highlight what makes our Málaga Tech Hub an exceptional place to work.

Key Responsibilities;

Brand & Messaging

  • Support the development and execution of the employer brand strategy for the Málaga Tech Hub.
  • Ensure consistent brand narrative across internal and external channels.

Content Creation & Social Media

  • Create compelling content (posts, videos, employee spotlights, behind-the-scenes stories, etc.) for LinkedIn, Instagram, career pages, and internal platforms.
  • Coordinate with design and communications teams to maintain visual and tonal consistency.
  • Track performance metrics and optimise content accordingly.

Candidate & Employee Experience

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment marketing campaigns and job-specific outreach.
  • Help curate onboarding narratives, welcome materials, and cultural storytelling for new hires.
  • Collect employee stories and testimonials to highlight life at the Málaga hub.

Community Engagement & Events

  • Assist in organizing employer-brand-driven events such as meetups, hackathons, university visits, and career fairs across Andalusia.
  • Build relationships with local tech communities, universities, and innovation hubs.
  • Support activation of global employer branding campaigns locally.

Research & Insights

  • Monitor employer brand trends, local talent market behaviour, and competitor positioning.
  • Compile analytics and reports to measure ROI on branding activities.
  • Provide recommendations for improving visibility and engagement in the region

Recruitment

  • Support the current TA Partner with the 360 degree hiring of new employees for the office
  • Taking the brief from hiring managers of role requirements
  • Sourcing, screening, interviewing and scheduling of interviews with stakeholders

Required Work Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in employer branding, digital marketing, HR communications, talent acquisition, or related fields.
  • Min 2 years’ experience within a Recruitment role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience creating social media content; basic design or video editing skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with tech talent personas, the software development lifecycle, or tech community dynamics is beneficial.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
  • Creativity, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

The Development Centre Manager will oversee the daily operations of our tech and product hub in Malaga, ensuring seamless workflows, effective resource management, and alignment with the company’s global strategic goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, fostering an efficient and productive work environment.

For our Frontend related tests you should have proven knowledge of a scripting language, preferably JavaScript/TypeScript. For API and Backend tests, C# would be great. As long as you are familiar with one of these programming languages, everything else can be learnt!

The Role:

Our Player Rewards & Gamification (PRG) team in Malaga is growing, and we are now looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer with strong frontend skills to join us! PRG at Betsson Group ensures our customers come back for more. It’s all about loyalty. You will play a key role in shaping how our users interact with these features, bringing intuitive, fast, and scalable interfaces to life. On the backend, you’ll collaborate with the team to ensure our systems are robust and ready for scale as we move further into containerized and cloud-native solutions.

A taste of what you will be doing:

  • Design and build engaging frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript, with strong focus on performance, scalability, and great UX.
  • Work with modern frontend practices such as event-driven communication, component-based design (e.g. Stencil, Angular component architecture), and real-time features using WebSockets.

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Mobile) to join our Mobile Apps team and play a central role in ensuring our apps are smooth, stable, and delightful to use. You’ll work in a collaborative, agile environment where ownership, innovation, and quality are at the heart of everything we do.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform both manual and automated testing across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, product owners, and fellow QA engineers to deliver high-quality features.
  • Define and refine test strategies for new functionality and release cycles.
  • Investigate, reproduce, and track bugs using Jira or similar tools.
  • Develop and maintain automation tests using Appium and Java.
  • Validate app interactions with backend services via REST APIs.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring quality is embedded from the start.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and mobile test frameworks.

 

Great if you have

  • ISTQB or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in iGaming.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years focused on mobile testing.
  • Solid experience with iOS and Android platforms, their guidelines, and best practices.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Appium and Java.
  • Familiarity with REST API testing and backend integration flows.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Bitrise, or similar.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent QA training.
  • Background in iGaming or fast-paced, high-scale environments is a big plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator in English.

You will be part of preparing our journey to containerization, increasing the scalability of our systems while also maintaining their high quality. To accommodate new requirements, we are constantly re-evaluating our systems design and working on exciting new features.

What you’ll do: 

  • Design and develop distributed backend services using .NET and event-driven architecture.
  • Collaborate with product and commercial teams to turn engagement ideas into scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions.
  • Optimize our microservice ecosystem for performance, reliability, and observability.
  • Drive our containerization and cloud migration strategy forward.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and help shape technical decisions.
    • For senior engineers: Lead architectural decisions and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Write maintainable, well-tested code and conduct code reviews.
  • Participate in incident resolution and the team’s on-call rotation.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation such as ADRs, runbooks, and guidelines.
  • Build and share your domain expertise within the team.

What Tech Stack you’ll be working with:

We don’t expect you to know everything listed below – but the more you’re familiar with, the better. What matters most is your ability to learn, collaborate, and write high-quality, maintainable code. 

Core Technologies

These are essential to the role, and we’re looking for solid experience here – especially for senior candidates.

  • Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET (modern versions after .NET Core)
  • Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Couchbase (experience with relational or document databases, including indexing and query optimization, is a strong plus)
  • Cloud & Containers: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker (experience with any major cloud provider or containerization platform is valuable)
  • Testing & Quality: xUnit/NUnit, mocking frameworks, k6 for load testing (understanding of unit, integration, and performance testing is more important than specific tools)

Additional Tools & Practices

Familiarity with these of similar tools and concepts is a plus.

  • Messaging & Microservices: Web APIs, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Orleans (experience with any messaging or actor-based system is valuable)
  • Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Splunk (or experience with other observability stacks)
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, trunk-based development, progressive delivery (familiarity with continuous delivery pipelines and deployment strategies is more important than specific tooling)
  • Architecture: Domain-driven design, event sourcing, actor model, distributed systems at planet-scale
