Besides the sports betting licenses which have now been granted, the New Interstate Treaty, which paves the way for the regulation and opening up of the market for online slots and poker in Germany, is scheduled to come into force on 1 July 2021.

Operating sports betting in Germany is part of our strategy of strengthening our position in existing markets by prioritising segments where Betsson has the best conditions to offer leading products.
