Jesper Svensson wins Executive of Year at GGA 2023

Our CEO Jesper Svensson, won Executive of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards held yesterday evening on Monday 6th February 2023. We are proud of this win as there were 25 executives that were nominated so winning was no easy feat.

Jesper has delivered fantastic results; financially, mentally and reputation-wise for the Betsson Group. Jesper is a CEO who carries the company culture with him and inspires others. He sees and pursues new business opportunities and without him Betsson would not be able to boast such a great product portfolio and max geographical spread. Under his leadership, Betsson’s stock surged 52% in the past 12 months.

The Global Gaming Awards are the most reputable and prestigious Awards in the gaming industry, mainly due to the strict nomination and voting processes. Each company and individual is always nominated for a specific reason which is released in the public domain.

Once the Shortlist is finalised, a panel of 50 C-level industry executives chooses the winners with KPMG in the Crown Dependencies independently adjudicating the entire voting process to ensure fairness. The Executive of the Year category is sponsored by Gamomat – the German-based online slots developer, while the Global Gaming Awards London are powered by Gambling Insider.

The winners of the Global Gaming Awards were announced at the awards ceremony in London on 6th February 2023.
