Betsson Group is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted across multiple categories at the HIPTHER Baltic & Nordics Gaming Awards, recognising excellence and innovation across the gaming industry in the Baltic and Nordic regions. 

The HIPTHER Baltic & Nordics Gaming Awards celebrate the most outstanding operators, suppliers, technology innovators and industry leaders shaping the gaming ecosystem across these key markets. Following an extensive review process conducted by the HIPTHER Awards Committee, Betsson Group and its brands Betsson and Betsafe have secured nominations that highlight their continued commitment to delivering exceptional player experiences, innovative products and responsible growth. 

Betsson Group has received nine nominations across the Baltic and Nordic categories: 

  • Best Multi-Vertical Operator (Baltics) – Betsafe  
  • Best Multi-Vertical Operator (Nordics) – Betsson Group  
  • Best Online Casino Operator (Baltics) – Betsafe  
  • Best Player Experience & Retention (Baltics) – Betsafe  
  • Best Player Experience & Retention (Nordics) – Betsson Group  
  • Best Sports Betting Operator (Baltics) – Betsafe  
  • Best Sports Betting Operator (Nordics) – Betsson  
  • Rising Star Operator (Baltics) – Betsafe  
  • Rising Star Operator (Nordics) – Betsson Group 

The nominations highlight the Group’s strong focus on product excellence, innovation, and delivering sustainable growth across the Baltic and Nordic regions.  

The nomination period for the 2026 awards ran from 18 February to 12 April 2026, followed by an internal review process led by the HIPTHER Awards Committee. Nominations were assessed based on category relevance, regional impact, company fit and overall contribution to the industry. 

Following the shortlist announcement on 5 May 2026, the final private vote took place on 29 May among registered industry participants. 

The winners will be revealed during the HIPTHER Baltic & Nordics Gaming Awards Ceremony and Closing Party in Tallinn on 2 June 2026.
