Betsson Group marked a successful week at SBC Summit 2026 in Lisbon, contributing to discussions on key topics across the sector, exchanging insights, strengthening industry partnerships and exploring new opportunities.
The Group was recognised with two wins at the SBC Awards, receiving Casino Operator of the Year – Gold and Operator of the Year – Silver. Betsson Group was also recognised at the Affiliate Leaders Awards, where it received the Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year award.

These achievements reflect the dedication of teams across Betsson Group to delivering an exceptional customer experience while combining innovation, creativity and responsible gaming in highly competitive markets. The recognition across different areas of the business also highlights the expertise and collaborative efforts of teams throughout the Group.
Beyond the awards, Betsson Group contributed actively to the SBC Summit programme. Jesper Svensson, CEO of Betsson Operations, participated in the Super CEO Panel, while Dario Evangelista, Deputy General Counsel; Ivana Pejic, Head of Compliance – Europe; and Justin Muscat, Senior Product Manager, represented the Group across a range of sessions. Discussions covered topics including industry expansion, player experience and responsible gaming, as well as regulatory developments in Finland, among other areas relevant to the gaming sector.

Betsson Group Affiliates (BGA) also welcomed existing and prospective partners to its stand throughout the Affiliate Leaders Summit. Active across more than 16 countries, BGA brings together a broad portfolio of Betsson Group brands, sponsorship assets and marketing materials to support its affiliate partnerships across multiple markets. During the event, the team met with partners, established new connections and hosted several activities at the stand, including opportunities for visitors to win branded merchandise linked to Betsson’s sponsorship portfolio.


The Summit also provided an opportunity to share Betsson Group’s perspectives with the media. Jesper Svensson, CEO of Betsson Operations, discussed the Group’s performance, key markets, regulation and the future of the industry, while Stefano Tino, Managing Director – Southern Europe, shared his perspectives on Italy’s regulatory framework, the company’s growth in the market and the outlook for the Italian gaming sector.
