Betsson Group is continuing to strengthen its long-term commitment to padel through two major partnerships in Buenos Aires and Rome, two of the sport’s most important and fastest‑growing markets.

Earlier this month, Betsson served as an official sponsor of the Buenos Aires Premier Padel P1, held from May 11 to 17 at the Mary Terán de Weiss Stadium – Arena Parque Roca. The fifth edition of the tournament brought together top‑ranked players from around the world for 114 matches, and the semi-final set a new world record with 16,920 attendees. The event was also broadcasted by Disney+, Red Bull TV and YouTube.

The partnership builds on Betsson’s growing involvement in padel in Argentina, following sponsorships including the 2025 edition of the tournament and Summer Pro Padel 2026 in Mar del Plata.

Following the presence in Argentina, Betsson Sport now turns its attention to Europe as an Official Partner of the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel in Rome, taking place from May 31 to June 7. As one of the four Major tournaments on the global circuit, the event will gather the world’s top-ranked players in the Italian capital. Alongside on‑court visibility, Betsson Sport will also engage fans through interactive activities and branded experiences throughout the tournament.

“Padel continues to grow rapidly across multiple regions, and both Argentina and Italy are important markets for the sport and for Betsson,” says Ronni Hartvig, Chief Commercial Officer at Betsson Group. “Through these partnerships, we continue to strengthen our presence within the international padel community while supporting events that bring together fans, players and entertainment. Having supported several tournaments across these markets in recent years, this reflects our long-term commitment to the sport.”

Through Betsson Sport and its broader sponsorship strategy, Betsson Group continues to invest in sports- and entertainment partnerships that strengthen brand visibility, support fan engagement and build long-term connections with audiences across international markets.
