At Betsson Group, we continuously drive initiatives that support a more sustainable workplace and contribute positively to the communities where we operate. In connection with Earth Day 2026 (22 April), we dedicated an entire week to highlighting the importance of action at every level: business, communities, and individuals.

We called it Earth Week, a Betsson Group global initiative built on the belief that even small, everyday actions can make a meaningful difference for our planet. Throughout the week, our teams organised a range of activities focused on promoting a more sustainable future.

In Malta, we partnered with the Malta Ranger Unit for a clean-up in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq. We also hosted a Swap Shop, encouraging employees to exchange pre-owned items and extend their lifecycle, reducing waste and supporting circular practices. In addition, we distributed plant pots, sustainability-themed pins, and bookmarks printed on recycled paper, which could also be planted as they contained flower seeds.

Our Betsson Tech Hub – Málaga team marked their first beach clean-up at Playa de Huelin. Tallinn saw employees taking part in a creative workshop where broken ceramics were transformed into new items such as jewellery, giving materials a second life.

In Budapest, we visited the MOHU Budapest Education and Reuse Center, gaining practical insights into sustainability, waste reduction, and reuse through an interactive experience. The team also carried out planting activities on the office terrace. Meanwhile, in Vilnius, together with Kickertech, employees contributed to a local park clean-up, collecting around 25 bags of waste through a highly engaged team effort.

Across several locations, we also promoted everyday actions in our offices, encouraging waste reduction and more effective use of recycling and waste separation facilities.

Sustainability is an integral part of Betsson Group’s business strategy. We take a long-term approach to creating value for our customers, employees, and the communities where we operate. To support this, our Board has established a Sustainability Framework built around five key focus areas: Responsible Gaming, Business Compliance, Employee Impact, Social Impact, and Climate Impact. This framework defines our long-term ambitions, targets, and activities across each area.
