Throughout October, Betsson Group joined the global Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative, bringing colleagues together across our offices to raise awareness, promote early detection and show support for those affected by breast cancer.
Through educational initiatives, awareness talks, fundraising activities and moments of solidarity, our teams reinforced the importance of education, early detection and supporting those affected.
Global Initiatives
Throughout the month, our internal communication channels turned pink to increase visibility and encourage colleagues to learn more about breast health.
Employees had access to educational resources, including a video marking International Know Your Lemons Day, an initiative by the Know Your Lemons Foundation promoting breast health education and early detection. Another video explored the origins of Pink October and the importance of recognising changes in one’s body.
Awareness posters were also displayed across our offices, while colleagues globally took part in Wear It Pink Day, wearing pink to show solidarity and support for the cause.

Turning Awareness into Action Across Our Offices
Beyond our global initiatives, teams across different locations organised activities to encourage conversations, bring colleagues together and support breast cancer organisations.
Latin America
In Argentina and Colombia, colleagues participated in on-site breast cancer awareness talks led by healthcare professionals, encouraging discussions about breast health and preventive care. Both offices also distributed pink ribbon pins and organised team lunches to mark Wear It Pink Day.
Across other Latin American offices, colleagues joined awareness sessions and received pink ribbon pins to wear throughout the month.

Europe and Georgia
In Estonia, Spain and Lithuania, colleagues came together for Pink October breakfasts and themed activities, with pink ribbons, pins, and wristbands distributed to raise awareness.

In Georgia, a Pink October gathering brought colleagues together, alongside a dedicated session with reproductive health specialist Dr Nata Nakaidze on women’s health and well-being.
Fundraising was also part of the initiative, with colleagues in Hungary and Malta organising Pink October charity sales, with proceeds donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation and the Action for Breast Cancer Foundation, respectively.
In Sweden, colleagues marked Pink Ribbon Day, encouraging employees to wear pink ribbons as a symbol of solidarity and a reminder of the importance of breast health awareness.

Betsson Group Affiliates (BGA) supported Beyond Pink, an initiative highlighting the importance of raising awareness, sharing stories and standing alongside those affected by breast cancer.
Continuing Our Commitment
Through these initiatives, Betsson Group aimed to encourage employees to stay informed, recognise the importance of regular screenings and professional medical advice, and support those affected by breast cancer.
Thank you to all our colleagues across the Group who participated, organised activities and contributed to fundraising efforts throughout October. Together, we helped foster awareness, empathy and meaningful conversations.
