Betsson Group has been shortlisted across nine categories at the upcoming Women in Gaming Diversity Awards 2026, recognising the Group’s continued focus on diversity, inclusion, employee wellbeing, and workplace culture across the organisation. The awards, now in their 16th edition, celebrate individuals and companies driving positive change across the gaming industry through equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
The Group has received nominations in both company and individual categories, highlighting efforts across multiple areas of the business.
The company category nominations are:
- Best Diverse Place to Work
- Community Engagement Award
- Company of the Year
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Great Place to Work Award
Several Betsson Group employees have also been recognised in the individual categories:
- Leader of the Year – Helen Baker, HR Director – Malta
- Employee of the Year – Donnabel Micallef, Senior Talent Acquisition Manager
- Positive Role Model of the Year – Rachel Fisher, HR Business Partner Lead
- Star of the Future – Sabrina Rabini, Market Incubation Manager
Judges are assigned categories based on their expertise and are excluded from evaluating any categories where conflicts of interest may arise. This year, Lena Nordin, Chief HR Officer, and Roderick Spiteri, External Head of Communications at Betsson Group, will be part of the judging panel.
Launched in 2010, the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards 2026 are widely recognised across the industry for spotlighting organisations and individuals committed to advancing diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing.
The awards ceremony will take place at the The Savoy Hotel in London on Friday, 12 June 2026.
