Betsson becomes the jersey main sponsor of Atletico Nacional, the biggest football club in Colombia

 

Betsson, the leading global betting operator, is the new global main sponsor of Atlético Nacional. The most successful Colombian football club will feature a fresh new logo on their jerseys for the first time in 23 years. This three-year agreement reconfirms Betsson’s long-term commitment to Latin American sports and continuous growth in the region.

Atletico Nacional expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We welcome Betsson with open arms. A company with a global presence and expansion projects in Latin America that aligns with our goal to be a reference in international football. Together, we are sure that we will conquer great titles.”

Since its founding in 1947, the club has won 33 titles, including two Libertadores Cups. In addition to the financial support to the club, also known as Los Verdolagas, Betsson is set to be an active sponsor, delivering excitement and surprises to the fans.

Jesper Svensson, CEO of Betsson Operations, expressed pride in the sponsorship, saying, “We are honoured to be the main sponsor of the legendary Rey de Copas (King of Cups), the biggest and most successful team in the history of Colombian football. This partnership, occurring as Betsson just celebrated its 60th anniversary, further solidifies our position as a leading supporter of Latin American sports. Recognising the immense passion stirred by Nacional, we are committed to providing fans with unforgettable moments, offering them a football experience like never before.”

The Betsson logo will be on the men’s and women’s team jerseys of Atletico Nacional from the start of the 2024 Colombian football season. As the teams gear up for 2024, their main challenge will be on winning as many trophies as possible in the tournaments they will play this year.

Betsson’s sponsorship portfolio extends globally, with a strong presence in various sports and football clubs. In Latin America, Betsson proudly stands as the main sponsor for two of the top Argentinian teams, Boca Juniors and Racing de Avellaneda.

Betsson, operador de apuestas líder a nivel mundial, es el nuevo patrocinador principal global de Atlético Nacional. El club colombiano más laureado lucirá, después de 23 años, un nuevo logotipo en sus camisetas. Este acuerdo de tres años confirma el compromiso a largo plazo de Betsson con el deporte latinoamericano y continúa su crecimiento en la región.

Desde su fundación en 1947, el club ha ganado 33 títulos, incluyendo dos Copas Libertadores. Además del apoyo financiero y de ser un gran hincha de los Verdolagas, Betsson será un patrocinador activo, proporcionando emoción y sorpresas a los aficionados.

El logo de Betsson estará presente en las camisetas de Atlético Nacional desde el inicio de la temporada 2024 del fútbol colombiano, tanto en el uniforme del equipo masculino como en el femenino. Como principal reto en 2024, los oncenos buscarán conquistar la mayor cantidad de trofeos en los torneos que jugarán este año.

Betsson patrocina una amplia gama de deportes y clubes de fútbol en todo el mundo, y en América Latina la empresa es patrocinadora de dos de los más grandes equipos argentinos, Boca Juniors y Racing de Avellaneda.
