As part of its commitment to fostering a safe, respectful and supportive workplace, Betsson Group continues its participation in Estonia’s Employers Against Domestic Abuse initiative through specialised leadership training.

At the end of 2024, Betsson Group joined the initiative, launched in collaboration with the President Kaljulaid Foundation (PKF) and other leading employers in the country. The initiative aims to raise awareness of domestic abuse and encourage organisations to contribute to addressing this important societal issue.
Building on this commitment, Betsson Group managers in Estonia recently participated in specialised communication training, delivered by Annegrete Johanson and Margarita Ingel from MTÜ RuaCrew, a training partner of the initiative.

The interactive session focused on developing practical skills for navigating sensitive and challenging workplace conversations, with an emphasis on active listening, empathy and understanding how trauma can influence communication and behaviour.
Through practical exercises, group discussions and workplace scenarios, managers strengthened their ability to approach difficult conversations with confidence, respect and sensitivity. These skills also contribute to more effective everyday communication, stronger working relationships and a positive workplace culture.
As a beacon company of the Vägivallavabaks (Employers Against Domestic Abuse) initiative, Betsson Group remains committed to promoting awareness, supporting responsible leadership and contributing to safer, healthier and more supportive workplaces and communities.
