Betsson Group Affiliates (BGA) employees once again demonstrated their dedication to giving back by volunteering at the Soup Kitchen in Valletta, Malta.

During their visit, the BGA team prepared and served warm meals, offered friendly company to visitors, and supported the operations of the facility, contributing not only with their time but their compassion and energy. These efforts reflect the spirit of Betsson Group’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility, community support, and creating meaningful impact beyond business.

The Soup Kitchen has become a crucial resource for individuals and families facing difficult times. Since opening in August 2021, it has served tens of thousands of meals, providing not just nourishment, but dignity, respect, and human connection. In 2022 alone, over 30,000 meals were served — including to 220 children — highlighting the scale and urgency of the need in our society.

“Helping others is not just an initiative — it’s a core part of who we are at Betsson Group,” said Shakyra Jonsson, Head of Affiliate Operations & Events Manager. “Volunteering at the Soup Kitchen not only allows us to contribute as a team, but also reminds us of the power of kindness, humility, and community.”

These initiatives are more than just CSR activities — they are an opportunity to create genuine human connection and give back where it matters most.
