In April 2024, representatives from Operation Aid visited our Stockholm office to share their inspiring volunteering efforts supporting war victims in Ukraine. Our Betssonites learned more about the organisation’s impactful initiatives during the visit.

As part of our ongoing commitment to social responsibility, Betsson is proud to continue supporting Operation Aid with an estimated €6,125 (70,000 SEK) donation to maintain the ambulance we funded last year. The versatile ambulance is vital for navigating damaged areas, rescuing victims, and transporting them to safety. The new funds will ensure the ambulance can keep saving lives for some months to come.

In addition to the ambulance funding, last year, our generous Betssonites in Sweden collected essential items like food and clothing, and we shipped eight boxes of these supplies to Ukraine. Furthermore, Betsson in Sweden donated €5,000 to Operation Aids to support around 15 women who were creating various textile products without any profit. This fund provided them with sewing machines, boosting production and volunteers.

Operation Aid’s work in Ukraine is making a significant impact, and we are very proud to continue contributing in various ways during these difficult times.
