Tree Planting Activity in Malta

In March, 20 of our Betssonites from Regional Compliance, Technical Compliance, Compliance Governance, and Legal came together at Majjistral Nature and History Park for a tree planting activity focused on environmental sustainability – a key pillar of our CSR efforts.

Organised in collaboration with the NGO Heritage Parks Federation, the event saw around 60 trees planted. We contributed both the cost of the trees and our time, helping to restore and protect one of Malta’s most beautiful natural areas.

No experience was needed on the day – just enthusiasm and a willingness to make a difference. The trees will be cared for by the park rangers until they are strong enough to grow independently.

As Dario Evangelista, Deputy General Counsel put it, “It was nice to get the opportunity to make a lasting, positive impact for the environment. And in addition to get to do it together, as a team.”
